Here are the highlights of this episode:
01 Daniel’s ideal Client: My ideal client is that business owner or organization that lost their confidence and they need to pivot with the new paradigm shift. The thing is, most businesses want to shift, they say pivot, but if they pivot with the same old paradigm, then you are never going to succeed.
33 Problem Daniel helps solve: You can't win without confidence; and when the leader becomes complacent, when he notices that commonality and then a new problem arises, they don't see it because they're stuck in complacency, they're stuck in commonality and then they don't have the confidence to take action to the new. So, they lose the vision for what they're trying to do with their organizations to begin with. And once you lose your vision, once you get stuck, you and I both know that it's hard to get unstuck.
19 Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Daniel: When you get frustrated and your employees are disengaged, there's a reason that your employees are disengaged. And so many times we think that it's our employees, but the thing is, it's not the employees, it starts at the top. One thing that I realize is that insecure leaders will tend to micro manage and take them out on their employees but when in reality, it has nothing to do with the employees. It's just that inability and insecurity of that leader that keep people from being their best. And the moment you back off from your employees, is the moment you start flying and you start seeing the result that you need for your organization or for your business. But if you don't have the confidence to let go and let your employees make you a star because of your insecurities, you'll never succeed the way you need to.
32 What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding Daniel and his solution: It's like automobiles; automobiles have blind spots; it's made by human beings. When I go and do an assessment of an organization, there's so many blind spots that they don't see. As a leader, you can't be everywhere all the time. I was with an organization this week and I just saw a couple of things. Maybe you want to address that, maybe you don't but I gave him the feedback and the recommendation on how to fix it. And he goes "that's going on here now?" and it amazes me when they don't even realize it. I ask them a simple question: what's the culture of your organization? he says "what do you mean?" and if they say that, I know that they have a problem because he doesn't know the culture of their organization, there's a blind spot there that they're not aware of.
29 Daniel’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): You have to be open minded because you don't know what you don't know. The world has changed, change is inevitable in business. But just because you're changing doesn't mean that you're progressing. So, the one action that you have to progress, because it's not part of change, you have to 'choose' to progress. Because if you're not growing, you're dying.
22 Daniel’s Valuable Free Resource (VFR): The resource is "7 Steps to Fly Daily". Sometimes we forget how important it is our morning routine and we get these bad habits that get us stuck. My free resource is this "7 Steps to Fly Daily" that's going to help you to get your morning going and refocus. Because if you lose your focus, they'll lose everything. They can go to danielgomezinspires.com/7steps and they can download the free PDF training & then they'll also going to get a series of emails that's really going to let them say "wow, you know, I really need to get things in shape now."
17 Why do you do what you're doing? It's all about the people. I think so many times our instinctive behavior comes out under pressure and right now the whole world and our US economy is under pressure. And our distinctive behavior on those services is coming out in business. So, I need to go out there and when we put profit before people, your business isn’t going to work. And what I hope you realize is that you need to put the people before the profits, your business will prosper like never before. Right now, the distinctive behavior which is probably negative is hindering you and you're putting the profits over the people because you can't win without people.
