Here are the highlights of this episode:
Glen mostly deals with clients who have had enough; being stuck and unhappy doing things that they are not passionate about. These leaders don't feel connected to what they're doing or even felt being used. He helps those looking for personal development to find greater meaning, fulfilment and joy in their life. Recent study shows that there's a lot of leaders who's stuck in a "Groundhog Day" focusing on earning and making more money. They start to wonder "Who and why am I here? How did I get into this in the first place?". Because of this, these folks would have this silent desperation, negative emotional energy, and lack focus or clarity. And what they’re doing is putting on a brave face. By suppressing that negative emotion, it will then affect them physically, emotionally, and mentally. Glen teaches leaders to be an alchemist. His key tip is for everyone to stop spending so much money on traditional education, training, coaching, or personal development and personality assessment programs. Instead, stop looking for answers externally but do it internally.
Glen’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): Glen tells us the process of self-discovery; contemplation and reflection. Both forms of meditation to self-examine and self-discover or to find out who you really are and why you're really here. A lot of people don't want to do this because they're afraid of what they'll find out. When you start learning the dynamics of your dark side and try to minimize and focus on what's the light about you. It's all about discovering that higher self, that's the key.
