Here are the highlights of this episode:

1:35 Dwaine’s ideal Client: A good, executive team that is passionately committed to be in the elite executive team. They probably have a revenue in the 5 to 250 million range.

1:53 Problem Dwaine helps solve: These executive teams want to get the parts of the organization; working together more effectively. But we have to get the executive team connected and align first and that's one of the first steps with our executive leadership system.

2:30 Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Dwaine: Probably they're having difficulty with the parts working together. Almost every new initiative in a company requires the parts to work well together, and when the parts aren't working well together, we can be very helpful in that process.

3:07 What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding Dwaine and his solution: They try to solve the problems at the 'to-do' level; they get into the weeds and our point is we need to solve this at the 'thinking' level. What are the big issues, clarity about the big issues so we can understand the concepts. Then we can develop principles that guide how we work in the details. So, they do it in reverse.

3:48 Dwaine’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): They need to have a session were each of them sits around with a whiteboard and each of the person on the executive team would identify "what are the four to five big issues I'm thinking about this week" and then work together so that everyone gets clarity about what those big issues are. Just the names of them, not the details of them. That is a big help.

4:26 Dwaine’s Valuable Free Resource (VFR): It's a copy of our book called 'Elite Executive Teams' and they can go to the website zynity.com and if they go there you will see a link to get the copy.

5:14 Why are you so passionate about this? The reason that I'm so passionate about it is that every employee deserves an elite executive team. Because the dysfunction in an organization starts at the top and it begins with just good teams who really haven't paid the extra steps required to become elite.

“The reason that I'm so passionate about it is that every employee deserves an elite executive team”– Dwaine Canova
