But, couple years ago we started working with podcast networks and we decided that we'd expand out and offer some of those same services to B2C as well. 6:45 Why is podcasting the step I should take when it comes to all this digital stuff and specifically when it comes to content? The reason is pretty simple; something I call 'audio first content marketing'. If you outline your audio and your content to be audio and be recorded as audio, you can transcribe it very easily. And then you end up with text which ends up on google and can be turned into all sorts of sharing. Everyone can talk, and training any executive to be comfortable on a mic is something that you'd probably going to end up doing at some point anyway just as part of their development. When a sales executive has a show, they get to interview their perfect fit clients and build relationships with the target account list. When a marketing executive has a show, then they might not be the host but they might be managing it and developing all the content for the company from one or two episodes a week. And so, you can build an entire sales and marketing strategy that expands your digital presence simply by focusing on that audio first conversational approach.
