Here are the highlights of this episode:

Hoyin's ideal client would be businesses that put value in creating events that build relationships in networking. It can be events to help people know each other or even educate them. His team also helps out professional associations and higher education universities. A lot of these businesses faced hardships during the pandemic. Before the pandemic, people can come together and do networking. It's difficult now getting people together to collaborate, do business, network, learn about the customer, or just to educate yourself. Added to this, people can just go to the event or not at all. But in virtual events, people can either go for 30 seconds or 5 minutes at the beginning and 5 minutes at the end. Virtual events now work for your end consumer so that it can work through their schedule. Those who held these virtual events gets frustrated because attendees are not engaging, it's like talking to a brick wall. Another thing they face is doing events but having low attendees, therefore not getting the return of investments they were hoping that they will get. Hoyin will explain further on how he came out with his company Remo.

Hoyin’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): He advises us that when you set a virtual event, make sure to make it as engaging and visual as possible. So that people can feel that they can be involved.

“When you set up a virtual event, you need to make it as engaging as possible" – Hoyin Cheung
