Here are the highlights of this episode:
59 John’s ideal Client: My ideal client is primarily entrepreneurs that have dreams and visions and see obstacles, and they want to see how to transform things that are apparently in the way into something that's actually possible. I help them troubleshoot, strategize, prioritize, delegate, whatever it takes to get that outcome.
27 Problem John helps solve: Most common is the structure; they have an idea but they don't have a strategy that's really thorough and they sometimes project assumptions about what the market needs instead of finding out what the market needs in getting a demand to provide their supplies with. So, I help them get structured, I help them get to prioritize, I help them to delegate, I help them get on into duty on what really inspires them so they can't wait to give more to serve people and people can't wait to get their service.
10 Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to John: When they're banging their head against the wall or the 'wailing wall' if you will, and they keep on expecting a different result though doing the same thing that they got arbitrated. I'm all about helping them get clear on their vision to help them break into those obstacles, because sometimes the quality of your life is based on the quality of questions that you're asking. I'm the guy that asks you questions to help you see past what they can't see.
56 What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding John and his solution: Most common thing is that they think it's an old delegation process; they think what they know on how to do it better than anybody else so I'll just keep doing it because I can't trust anybody. They inappropriately hire people that are cheaper but not necessarily really great in what they do that they can really engage in and rely on. And they get caught micromanaging, they get caught doing low priority things that they devalue themselves and ultimately, hook them back from doing something great because of this.
44 John’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): To make an honest evaluated list of every single thing they're doing in a day, personal and professional. Right next to it after they made that list, how much do you produce per hour. Right next to that is how much meaning does it give them from a 1 to 10 scale. Right next to that how much does it cost to delegate that and look at the spreads between what's it's going to produce first off. And next to that, how much time is actually spent on it. Finally, go through it and prioritize what really produces the most, what really means the most, that allows you to get the maximum spreads you can get into the highest priority in your life. If you don't fill your day with high priority actions that inspire you, it's going to fill up with a party of distractions, then don't. I'm a firm believer in doing something that's extremely meaningful. Because money without meanings leads to no options, money with meaning leads to philanthropy. Interested in doing something you love doing on a daily basis absorbs. It's an important part of the human fulfillment factor.
09 John’s Valuable Free Resource (VFR): If you go to drdemartini.com, and go to 'determine your values' on my website, there's a complimentary free assessment of what you really, really show in your life, what your life demonstrate as value to you. To learn how to truly prioritize, because most people subordinate to experts on the outside; live in the shadows of the people they admire, inject the values of others, holding themselves back from really truly going after what's important to them. And they end up getting stuck and frustrated because they're not being authentic of what's really valuable to them and they're not inspired. And so, their value and determination process online is absolutely an essential tool to help you on that journey and start that. It's a complimentary, it's private, please take advantage of it.
13 How do you get up in the morning and do what you really love everyday? The truth is, if I can do that, I would really love my life and with fulfillment. It's identifying the absolute top priority, highest priority, most meaningful, most aspiring, most fulfilling, purposeful, cheap, aim-focused, one thing as Gary Keller says that you can dedicate your life to and build momentum and build a legacy around. Focus on that and delicate the rest away. That's prioritizing your life. If you're not fulfilling your day with the highest priority actions and not going into the most empowering challenge that you can tackle your life, then your life is going to fill up with challenges and distractions that aren’t inspiring.
