They're trying to fix themselves, but as Einstein says and I'm paraphrasing here "you can't fix the problem with the same mind that created it." They have no objectivity; they are in their own storm of their life or in their business and they need that outside helps. So, that's the first thing I see that they're acting out in their lives by drinking too much alcohol, porn addiction, sex addiction, or they become workaholics. 4:09 What are some of the common mistakes that folks make before finding Joseph and his solution: As I've previously mentioned, they have no objectivity so they can't see how they showing up in the world with the reality of how they're showing up in the world, how others are seeing it. They're looking from the inside out and it just doesn't work. So, number one, three mistakes; they try to fix themselves like we said, number two they resist asking for help. As men, you know we are the biggest culprits of this. We just refused to ask for help because we don't want to look bad, we don't want to deal with the shame or the humiliation of not looking like we have it all figured out. And number three, they do nothing; they just learn to cope with misery. And figured "Well, this is the way my life is, so I'll just learn to live with the pain."
